Email Forwarders
Creating a email forwarder is much the same as an email aliases.
No email account of the same name needs to be created.
You may for instance want to create a webmaster and abuse email accounts but would prefer to just have them forward the email to your main account.
By creating a forwarder for abuse and creating one for webmaster and directing them each to forward mail to your main email account each will do exactly that.
You can setup many forwarders to one email account and in outlook have the messages go to separate folders by use of outlooks rules.
You can forward the mail to any account in your domain or to another website you own.
Many forward emails to their Hotmail accounts or to their ISP accounts which is not good to do.
Gmail, Hotmail and other free email services are not secure.
There is no privacy with free email services and they have Spam black lists.
Also ISP email service have Spam blacklists too.
The Spam black lists are the problem because when you forward emails to them the Spam sent to you is also forwarded.
These email services will see you as the one sending the Spam and black list your email and our server IP.
At present there is no way to prevent this problem so we suggest that you don't forward emails to free email services or your ISP.
Besides the forwarder there is also filters that can be setup to forward emails.
With a filter you may want only one type of email to be forwarded.
It can be based on who sent the email or on something in the subject.
