Email Filters
Cpanel filters can do many things to help you.
You can create filters to block out emails from sender that you can't block any other way.
For instance you can set a filter to discard a message that has "RX discounts" in the subject or a domain name in the from address.
The filters are in two types:
Account Level
User Level
Filters set at the account level will affect every email user created in your account.
Filters set on the user level are for the chosen email user only.
To create a filter just click on Create a New Filter - for user level first click on manage filters for the user.
Once there you can choose from the drop downs to set a rule.
For instance we can set Subject for the first drop down and contains for the second drop down.
In the next line put: RX discounts
For Actions choose Discard.
That's it - now any email that has RX discounts in the subject will be deleted.
You can also setup a forwarder using the filters.
Rules can be combined in a single filter so you can have And or Or rules.
You can pipe the email to a program or send it to a folder.
There is a lot of power using this.
Some examples:
Discard Spam from a email pipe
