If you get a login screen or if you are getting an error when you try to use PhpMyAdmin this maybe due to your SQL user name not being in sync with Cpanel.
To solve this problem change your Cpanel password.
Login to Members and choose My services - then click on Details to the right of the hosting account name.
There click on the Tab ( change password )
When you change your Cpanel password it also will change the MySql password for your account or create the user if it doesn't exist.
