Upgrading your application using Softaculous
Click on the application you have installed on your websitefrom the many applications on the left side of the Softaculous main page.
If Softaculous has installed your application you will see this info which shows the version number installed.
It will have a upgrade image link next to the list of the installed version of this application.
If Softaculous has not installed your application click on the import link as it will gather info on your installed application and add it to the softaculous manager.
Softaculous will then show this in the list of the version you have installed andif it shows the upgrade imageyou can use Softaculous to upgrade your application.
In most cases the upgrade goes very smooth and is a one step process but to be safe always backup your website and databaseas in a worse case you can always restore from backup if things go wrong.
Softaculous can upgrade applications that you installed or that it has installed!
