Outlook and Windows 7

Older versions of MS Office and Windows 7 Problems

If you are using Office versions lower than 2007 with Windows 7 you will have problems.
Windows 7 has changed the way it deals with passwords.
This will cause old versions of Outlook to not save the password for the email accounts.

We suggest to upgrade to the newest version of MS Office if you are using Windows 7.

Other problems experienced may include that you mayin addition to setting My server requires authentication
you also may need to set the Outgoing Server to Log on to incoming mail server before sending email.
Although I have only seen this problem with some ISP's it may also be required with our email server.
If your test fails then first try setting the outgoing port to 26 and if it still fails then try checking the box to to force login before sending email.
