PCI Compliant Rules for merchant accounts.

If you plan on using a merchant account or store credit card info in your database be aware there are new rules in effect.

You are not required to be PCI Compliant if you use a card service such as 2CO ( 2Checkout ) or Paypal but if you plan on using PayPal Plus or a Merchant account then you are required.

To become PCI Compliant you must contact a security service that offers PCI testing.
Most charge a yearly fee for a security scan of your website and offer an online form to fill out.
Charges vary from company to company from $129 up to $500 per year.

Our Goldenage and Darkage servers meet PCI standards.
